Wedding Party

Emily Davis

Maid of Honor

“Jalisa and I met back in 2007 at one of our mutual friend's birthday party. We bonded immediately over our love for sarcasm and common similarities. We kept in touch after the party and would met up occasionally to catch up. No matter how much time had passed, we picked up our friendship like we never skipped a beat!

Each year we grew closer and closer through our accomplishments, breakups, graduations, new jobs, moves, and curve balls of life. She has become one my closest and best friends, who I consider a sister. There's no one else I'd want to share my love of wine, memes, brunch, and silent (or not so silent) judgement with!

We've built a life long friendship over the years that I am grateful for each day. I'm SO excited and honored to see what the future holds for Dr. & Mrs. Keyser!”

Best Man

Jonny and I met way back in 6th grade, playing HAYSL soccer together. That (plus usually being some of the smartest and most humble people in the room) started a friendship that has stood the test of time. Heck, by the time Jonny and Jalisa get married our friendship will almost be old enough to drink!

With all we've been through together, we will deserve some of those drinks. We went to Towson together, and even survived living together for a year on our own when we moved off campus. Regardless of what has come across our path, the two of us have been there for each other and there's not another person I would want by my side to call brother. I know I can always count on him to be there to prod me out of my comfort zone, which is something I always need.
As Jonny and Jalisa begin to step out of their own comfort zones and into this next adventure called marriage, I am extremely excited for them, and will be there to help support both of them. Congratulations you two!

Jon and I met in pharmacy school back in 2012, being on the same committee of a pharmacy organization. Little did I know that seven to nine months later, I would gain a great roommate and the start of a lifelong friendship.

For the next 3 years, Jon and I lived at the good ol’ 369 as roommates. It included hours of playing video games, talking on our patio or in the apartment over a glass of whiskey, or just hitting the gym. Although we are not related by blood, I consider Jon family and my ride-or-die brother. Whatever life threw at us, I knew I could always rely on Jon to be there. There is no other person I would rather have by my side, especially for a zombie apocalypse.

I was fortunate to witness the great “swipe right” match of Jon and Jalisa, while also being able to see this great relationship blossom. I couldn’t be more excited for Jon and Jalisa’s marriage and to be a part of their lives for years to come. Congratulations to you both!

How about that ride in…guess that’s why they call ‘Sin City’ heh heh.

Long ago, in the before time, there was a legend known as The Master. To become The Master one must find the glow. My brother and I battled many foes to obtain the glow. We even battled the one called Sho’Nuff. We knew our journey wasn’t over, but he was tired and weak. I told him “you can go home, the war is over we’re told. Well, I’m not going home. I’m going to get in my boat and go up river and I’m going to kick that SOB Bison’s butt so hard that the next Bison wannabe is gonna feel it. Now do you want to go home or DO YOU WANT TO GO WITH ME?!?!?!”

We’re brothers so we’ve been through it all. The fights, the fun, the hardships, and even good ships. I remember one time we were driving to an audition for a movie and we asked the guy in the car next to us how to get to boob street. He had never heard of it. It doesn’t exist, though. We did things like that on a daily basis. We finally got to the parking garage and of course we had to pay for parking. There’s 3 things a man should never pay for in life: bottled water, parking and sex. Of course as you get older you don’t have the energy to drive around looking for a spot. And we don’t really like tap water either. We were parked at Jurassic parking and we said “there are going to be dinosaurs on the dinosaur tour right.” What a horrible way to die. Guy’s taking a shit and he’s constipated thinking how can life can get any worse. Uh-oh T-Rex.

We are not only brothers, but were roommates for a few years, too. We had to share 1 bathroom and I feel so bad for that toilet. If that thing could talk. It would be in the police station right now talking about how it was abused by two men. We would go to Chipotle so many times. It was at least once a day and even up to 3 times a day. Also, being meatheads we would consume massive amounts of eggs and other protein so you can only imagine the damage brought forth to that toilet.

All in all, my brother is one of the best guys I know. Our dad wasn’t around so he took on the role of role model at a certain point. For most of you that sounds terrifying. Believe me, it wasn’t the greatest path to follow at times. However, he did teach me a lot about life and was there to help whenever I needed him. Someone once told me the power in all relationships lies with whoever cares less. But it’s about who cares more rather than less. And no one cares more about others than my brother, Jon. Jalisa you seem to make him happy and that makes you alright in my book. Now I have SISTA!!! Good luck to you both and a cooked goose for everyone!!!!
Also deez nuts…GOT EM!!
